That's the great thing about this hobby - you just never know what you're going to find... a couple of months ago, I wasn't finding anything in Quarters, while Dimes were providing a good amount of silver coins... now it's reversed and Dimes are in a big slump for me... And the Quarters just keep on producing... last batch of 800 I got on Saturday produced a 2020-W Weir Farm (Connecticut) coin with 200 still to search in addition to the 800 I got on my lunch hour today... John77 Pillar of the Community United States 2929 Posts	Posted 07/04/2026 11:29 am Visited the same branch where I found by 2004-D Wisconsin high leaf coin on Thursday. bought 800 coins in 20 CWR. weighed them all before opening. the heaviest roll (228.60 grams) had another treat: My first ever modern silver proof quarter found CRH - a 2010-S Arkansas coin! I managed to also pull 2 silver dimes and a War Nickel from said visit. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets! I guess the stamp was not changed to 2026. I found 2 Lowell 2019-Ws, that was it. A few lower mintage 2009 coins I found were so grungy I tossed them back into circulation.
