My final two Mercury dime grades posted today. Line # Item # Cert # PCGS No. Coin Date Denomination Variety Country Grade 1 1 1847XXXX 145442 1945-D/Horiz D 10C US VF30 2 1 1847XXXX 145449 1935-S/S 10C US AU50 My complete variety set will be updated later tonight once the cert numbers process. It is pretty exciting for me to be the first Mercury dime Complete Variety set to be finished at 100% The 1935-S/S was the most difficult coin in the set with the 1936-s/1929 possible overdate being the second most difficult. For any of you on the PCGS boards you would recognize me as fcloud.

Thank you. I started the regular set somewhere in the 2002 range. That set was complete in about 2007. The complete variety set was started in December 2008, so it took about two years to find 23 additional coins. Many of the varieties are less than mint state, but finding them in any state is an accomplishment.

That is one heck of a set. Wow. I'm speechless - and that's pretty rare!
Love the 1942/1 (P) overdate.

Very Nice! Very difficult! You must feel great about it! Thanks for having the pics up. Too bad more don't.
Got anything else started? (never mind I found it :)
Side note: That PCGS site is luring is it not!

Thanks fellow collectors. Yes. It feels great to complete this diffecult set. I searched out and found many of the varieties raw. The first two I cherrypicked out of my own rolls. After that I was hooked. Now finding some upgrades may take some time and effort, but I'll keep looking.
