I would put it into roll searching and when silver goes down then use it for silver. You lose nothing with will searching. And you don't know what you will get.

I agree. Buy something on your list, a coin that you will enjoy more than the Wii!

$100 can go a long long way when roll searching. The profit potential from silver finds is enticing to say the least. With a little luck you could triple or better your money.

I agree with roll searching. Your going to loose 50 cents per coin you keep but your gaining several dollars, IMO best way to go.
However, I've been thinking recently, will silver ever go back down to $10/15 an ounce? Or are we looking at the beginning of a new era in precious metals? America is no longer the worlds sole super power consuming gargantuan amounts of resources. China and India are hot on our tail, and there is only so much material that humans can harvest from the Earth's crust.

Stay away from bullion right now. Roll searching Kennedy halves for 40%, 90% has paid off for me lately. Other than that, I would suggest a semi-key or even a low grade key investment, ie.14D Lincoln in AG.

I would search some dime rolls or if you can find them...half dollar rolls.

Treating yourself to roll searching is kind of like the gift that keeps on giving. You can search as much or as little as you want and always have money to take to the bank.

If it was me, I'd look for a pre-Civil War era Seated Liberty half dollar in XF or better. Some of the better dates are available for $100 and they are a good piece of history for the money.

If I had a hundred to burn... I'd get a nice high grade 1883 Nickel no cents (great story) and a 1932 Washington quarter in MS62/63 our AU58 if it looked better.

Hmmm, my latest obsession is Mint and proof sets. LOL
Semi-keys sounds good too.

Band played out last night so I too have $100 in "play" money. Saving mine for the coin show on Saturday :) Though I do enjoy some roll searching I'm ready for a few specifics.

well, all great suggestions! thanks!
so here is my question:
does the price of silver affect semi key or MS graded franklins? I want to get some MS+60 franklins, but wasnt sure becuase if the +60 grades are effected heavily by silver, then I'm not doing it..
this goes for any key/semi key or any coin that is gaded MS 60+.. does the price of silver launch the price up?
