Is it possible to have higher than ms-60 with a brown coin? I notice Charltons lists these coins as ms60 brown then higher at red-brown then red.

Sure. PCGS has Canadian coins graded 66 brown. I have seen ICCS coins graded 64 lustrous brown.

As far as I'm concerned you could have an MS70BN. Color designations are just that... color designations. Not sure if the TPGs would agree with me though.

And dialog_gvf, that could very well be wear, in which case this would probably be a mid-high AU.
