Hi,
I found this 1952 LWC with a deep split on both serifs. It looks a lot like the 1952D-1MM-024 on the CC site but I can't find any of the markers (except the split on the serifs). I know the pictures aren't great, what do you think?

I recently found this one and it's still fresh in my mind and because of that I agree with you. Nice find.

It's not 024. Your mint mark location is further south than 024.

Some minor ones will never get listed, but you do have a RPM.

Well it's nice to know it's a RPM, although I prefer when I can match it to a known variety.
Thanks!

Bob and I were going to work on getting all the minro 1952D RPMs listed at one time, but we got sidetracked and ended up busy with other things. There are at least 50 different minor dies not listed on coppercoins for this date, and this coin is likely from one of those dies. I believe at one time I noted that Wexler had over 75 different 1952D RPMs listed.

Wow, I had no idea there were so many minor varieties of the 1952 d rpm.
Thanks a lot for your reply and for your work at coppercoins, it sure is a fantastic help for all of us Lincoln Cent collectors!
