I'm no pro but I don't think yours is a DDO. It looks like it's an "ejection doubling" example. The numbers don't look any thicker then normal to me. Let's wait for a pro to chime in. I would like to know for sure to.

I hate Lincoln cents because I can never see anything that everyone calls doubling. Can you point out where you see doubling at on this coin please because I do not see anything doubled at all so maybe if its pointed out I will see it also

Bryan, she is looking at what looks like separation on the right and lower right of the 88, best seen in the last pic.

I'm not sure if it is a DDO or not. I'm waiting for the pros, too.

Sometimes you can see a similar effect associated with overstriking pressure.

I am using my droid and I still can't see any doubling but thanks scooby for telling me where to look. I think these Lincoln cents will have to be left to the ones who know the series allot better than I do

If it is a doubled die like John1 & I found, check the E on WE. That is really doubled.

An image showing all digits of the date would also help. When you look at something too close it is hard to see width in comparison to other devices.

Now that I see this again and on closer look I can see how it could probably not by dd. This hobby is sooo bad on on the eyes! Is anyone else besides me going blind?
