Ed, did you get my email?
I am really enjoying this progression of images. I like circulated coins for their history, and those of foreign origin add all the more color to one's imagination about where they've been, and in whose hands.

Here's a quick photo of the entirety of the collection. It as been unsorted since the early '70s. You will notice in the photo's right lower portion the bulk of unsorted US pennies and at te lower left hand in those 2 heart shaped containers are a large US Penny and in the other a Half-Penny. I am painstakingly taking photos of every item and will be posting their photos in due time. Please bear with me.

That is an awesome collection of coins your dad has. All the pictures you are taking will come in handy in lots of ways. If he decides to sell then you already will have all the pics you need. I don't think you will have any problems getting what they are worth. The coin market is hot, hot, hot right now. It is very good to be a seller right now.

Mr. Reyes, we all know you are a very busy man and when you get the time to post we will be here to help in any way we can and we aren't going anywhere (if the good lord willing anyway) so take your time and post when ever you get the chance and we will do what we can to help when that time comes

Thank you for the kind words Irishraider and Bryan1315. I still have a lot to photograph and since I'm also trying to learn the operation of the new camera in relation to the subject I keep wanting to retake earlier photos as I find out new operational systems. I've been taking the photos with natural lighting out in my dad's front porch that's covered with the plastic corrugated roofing. I soon realized that the red and green translucent roof was casting the tints that were showing.
Of interest, my dad also found my grandfather's Georgetown U diploma which is huge and in Latin, dated 1909! WOW! I'll post a pic of that too. More pix tomorrow as I'm off to an appointment in preparation of the World Pool Championships that's being held here in November. Thank you all. Edwin Reyes

Here are some of the Coin Guides/Books, that my grandfather used, we found this morning in our library. The oldest one so far is J.W. SCOTT'S-Standard Coin Catalogue-No.1-Silver and Gold Coins of the World-Fully Illustrated-1916 Edition. Most are by Wayte Raymond.

inside pages. These books also establishes that the coin collection was started on or before 1916. Real nice books to look at but most images are just drawn in the 1916 book.
