Umm, okay....What's strange about it. Again, a post with a couple of images and no question.

I'm pretty sure just the "R" was used for Gilroy Roberts, unlike "FG" for Frank Gasparro and "SGH" for Seth G Huntington on the half dollars. At least all my Kennedy halves have just the "R" and look just like the photos above. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi

I just noticed your post and was not trying
to bust grapes but to maybe help some.
I'm no expert on the Kenn. half so maybe someone
can reply on the initials. I also saw another one of your posts
and did not recognize you on the forum, so welcome aboard.
Hang in there. There are plenty of knowledgeable people on CCF
so you will eventually get some answers and then in turn learn more
about coins. Sometimes we all get a little tappy on here from time to time. Just ignore that. You will be tappy yourself after a few years :)

I was under the belief that it was G sharing a common center line with the R,,that creates the bowtie effect?

I believe the monogram is only a capital, yet stylized 'R'. Anyhow, this one appears just like all the others I have seen.
