I have picked up a few liberty head nickels over the years, but never got around to putting them into a album. When looking at the Dansco albums in my local coin shop I saw this one. I thought in my efforts to organize my collection, I should have one of these too. None of mine are high grade, but I am sure all were bought for less than a dollar. After first pass through my coin box. Need 10 more.

I forgot to say. When I saw the album, in it's shrink wrap, I could not figure out how they set up the pages. I knew there were only 33 coins, but I could see the album had two pages.
After opening I saw that the second page was all blank slots. What are others doing with that blank page?
I am thinking maybe as I upgrade I can put the duplicates on the back page. If I live long enough maybe I can end up with two sets .....

I use the second page for things like racketeer nickels or partial to full liberty extras or repunched dates, etc.

Nice! It may cost more than a buck for some of the ones that are left though

Your right upstate
As of now, I know I have more into the Dansco, then I do the coins.
I think I could get lucky and find a couple more from my dealers junk box. And maybe a couple won't be to bad in G/VG. But I am sure I won't like spending big money for a low grade 85 and 86.

Nice album makes me want to go study the history for each of those years to see what was happening when those coins circulated. Teddy Roosevelt may have carried some around in his pocket change!

If it did have one, I think that instead of a sad face you should put a photo of a decent luxury car, since one of those would probably be cheaper.
