Hi,

I am new here, I joined because I had a question about the new National Park quarters and I figured this would be a good place to get an answer.

I was just wondering how much the complete set of coins, (ten, five minted in Philadelphia and five in Denver) would cost. I can get them for $6.50, uncirculated....is that fair?

Most coin shops I have been in, sell them from 50 to 75 cents each.
So I would say that is a fair price.

My main coin shop lets me pick which coins I want from his open rolls.

If possible pick coins that are the best strike and highest grade,
if you get a chance to pick each coin.

The mint sells the circulating coin set for $9.95 (plus$4.95 shipping) so that is a good price. As GR58 said, just make sure that you are getting uncirculated coins that are decent quality.

Mt Hood is out, but it might not be at the friendly neighborhood dealer yet. Give it a couple weeks. But, in response to the OP, $0.65/coin is pretty good.

Missouriblue,

If you're able to get them for face value at ANY bank, that's pretty good. I've asked each of the banks in my area and always get the same reply, "Nope, we don't have any and aren't expecting to get any."
My only option has been to get them at 50 - 75 cents from the coin shop.
