My collection is a basic, what ever I can get, sort of collection, however there are some folders which are more organised than other. I have lived in the US, Spain, Germany and Austria (I'm from the UK), though I did not start collecting coins until after I had lived in the US. So I have big collections of spanish, german, austrian, portuguese and British coins (I lived an hour from portugal in spain). Then I have smaller collections of places I have been to. My africa and asia folder is the thinnest, my americas folder is going to lose the US because I managed to get a lot more State Quarters and a few other older coins which means it fits into the large A4 sized folder rather than the smaller one it is in at the moment. I do like to collect cheap coins, being an absolute poverty case, and getting them from circulation is amazing. I think I have been to nearly 40 countries, so you can imagine. Though, if it is old it goes in as well. I have a roman coin mixed in with everything else, a few 1600s coins but mainly 20th century and 21st century.

echizento, that is a nice collection. Let me know when you're ready to sell some of those half dollars.

echizento: That is excellent documentation. With a data base set up like that, I appreciate that you can illustrate your posts on this Forum without leaving your keyboard. You deserve the all the kudos you get from us.

I'm a "one from every country" collector; back in 2007 I posted my list of "countries" here. I've added another 100 coin-issuing entities to the collection since then (total number now standing at 701). And with 9,670 coins in the collection at the moment, you'll excuse me if I don't post pics of all of them here in this thread.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

echizento, a splendid documentation! Just one small flaw, from my point of view - your very first coin listed under "Norway", 2 kronor 1878, is 100% Swedish.
For myself I echo Saps sentiment. I do not have nearly as many different types of coin as him, nor as many coin producing entities (about 370) but it is still somewhat laboriuos to post 3500 pictures.

It's really a very difficult question to respond to as I have around the 6,000 coin mark so obviously nobody wants to see a list of them here :) Other than my dedicated Diadumenian roman provincial site ( http://www.diadumenian.com) I don;t really have anything else online - though there are a few bits and peices of silver on there too ( http://www.diadumenian.com/modern/modern.html) but not very much. Echizento's great site has made me want to look at the online possibilities however - it's very handy having access to "what you have" no matter where you are -- and good for insurance too. EDIT - I've just remember I have about 1,000 "oriental" type coins on Zeno ( http://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?...puser=1418), some interesting ones there too.

Here's mine: http://www.omnicoin.com/collection/gxseriesThe Korean and Russian collection may be interesting. I haven't updated for a while but there's a fair bit more to be added. Some are tough to obtain in any condition.

You aren't going to believe it svslav, most of them are from ebay. Probably as high as 90% or more. So if you claim you can't find decent coins on ebay, try harder.

I'm not gonna claim anything, but a few times I tried looking up Russian coins on ebay I was bombarded by dozens of pages of "replicas", so every time I eventually gave up.
