Buying by location DOES NOT help. I repeat, it DOES NOT help.
How difficult is it to understand that there are people in your own country import these counterfeit coins to resell them or counterfeiters establish proxy sellers to sell their products?
I am adamant that one has to learn how to tell the difference between counterfeits and genuine coins, not just mere one line saying "judge by country".

Avoid India and China. Just a piece of advice.

Right, so if I happen to be an Indian or Chinese, I should be avoided. That's the greatest piece of advice.

Not directed toward the people, just the overwhelming fraud that comes out of those Countries. I've personally had too many bad experiences with those Countries.

Are you saying that people selling from the UK are suspect?

An advice to buy by country is clearly insufficient. gxseries is right - take care wherever you buy your coins. That said, excluding China does have some merit, as the risk of counterfeits there is simply higher than anywhere else - at least for the time being.

Let me rephrase also what I was stating. We are talking ebay here, right. Well, I regularly buy coins from the UK. Man, those coins get here fast and safe (on ebay). On my eCrater site, I will only ship coins to certain Countries, because I know those Countries are relatively safe to ship to. The two Countries I mentioned above, I have had bad experiences with more than once. Sorry, but I'm not into political correctness, I just tell you what I think.

I gotta see how this one turns out. Personally, every time I speak in absolutes, I usually have to wash my mouth out with soap.
