Well, I don't have a 1974 aluminum Cent

But, I have this one. It has some of the nicest luster I've seen on a BN Lincoln Cent. Unfortunately, it has some spotting on the obverse. I think I'll try an acetone dip or maybe xylene.

If you do use something on it please show us the results! Who knows maybe it ends up on your ecrater site?!

Thanks Jake! I will post the results. I think I'll wait for BadThad to chime in. Maybe there is no way to get it off :-(
I'll probably auction it here.

MS-63, not worth the effort of conservation IMO. $3-4 coin.

With the stuff - MS61BN. Without the stuff - MS63BN. The hairlines across the coin kill it for any higher grade.
