Hope this photo is good enough for grading. Some of you may know that I am not good at grading so I need your help. Do you think this would grade MS63? Got this from a mint sewn bag back in '95. Thanks for your help,John1

It has some spotting that would keep it from MS64. MS63RD

You mean I graded this one right As far as spotting goes, which is worse-white or those dreaded GREEN ones.I started out with 100 coins that were in my opinion PQ when I wrapped them in 1995.Yesterday I went through them and ended with about 35 that were not green spotted and to a lesser degree white spotted.I did not keep any with green spots no matter how small they were.I did keep the ones with minimal white spots though. The white spots are from planchet wash and came from the mint that way, mor or less. The green spots are just nasty and should not be stored with un-spotted coins. That green stuff spreads like cancer.
The 1995 in this thread appears every bit of MS64RD to me, but seeing the coin in a different light could change my opinion one way or the other. Side lighting isn't really becoming of coins, and this one could be getting the short end of the stick because of the side lighting.

coppercoins, I don't know if I'm or . I thought I had the grade right for a change when BadThad and vermontensium agreed with me and then you say it's MS64 . I like your grade better . Does the white spots lower the value or has no effect on the value. Thanks for your input, John1

If they measurably detract from the appearance of the coin then they affect eye appeal. If they affect eye appeal, they affect the grade. Given that, they would affect the value of the coin. Nuff said.
Point here was that I would need to see the coin in different lighting to determine all that.
