I agree with Feeder Finger Damage, but I also think there is some gas bubbles.

I'm not to familiar with how feeder fingers cause damage to a coin. I was wondering if feeder fingers would cause damage to a coin in more then one direction? Looking at the first picture it appears that the damage runs NW to SE on the top portion of the coin and NE to SW on the lower portion of the coin. Looking at the lower section of the coin there is one line/bubble that runs from bay #6 to the N in Cent which is completely opposite from the other elements on the lower coin. I'm guessing the the raised lines would be gas bubbles. I also thought that I noticed a die clash in bay #8 but I think it is another line crossing through the bays. It may also be a lighting issue.

Feeder fingers do not cause damage to the coin, it causes damage to the die.

It is an arm that supplies the planchets and sometimes will scrape the die leaving gouges in it. That's why you see the gouges running "behind" the letters, because they are actually on the high points (fields) of the die.

The marks look a lot like my 94 LMC diagnosed with Feeder Finger Damage (except your pictures are a whole lot better).

Scooby is correct regarding the damage to the die - not the coin.

To respond to your other question, the lines on the lower part of that coin are very likely caused by impurities beneath the copper plating and have nothing to do with Feeder Finger Damage. There is some possibility that they could also be worn die scratches. One thing they definitely are NOT is Feeder Finger Damage.
