I ask for forgiveness in advance. I still can't get my camera to focus as sharply as I want to.

There are four areas on the face of Kennedy. Two, parallel to the right of his mouth and extending downwards. I believe you can see most of it in the photo. The third which might be an extension of one of the first two is the "blob" on Kennedy's chin. The fourth is the vertical line through the eyebrow. '

Has anyone seen this before? There was some question as to whether this was visible to the naked eye. It is still not the best, but I think you get the idea. I do get the apples and oranges thing. I post a die break in the Peace/Morgan section and people really like it. I post one of a Kennedy, and its almost like "who cares". Lol, well they always did say you only have to collect to please yourself!

If they are indented on the coin, it is just a bag mark or circulation damaged.

Try this:

Focus your attention on error coins that would not fit normally into a roll, have completely missing parts, or have issues that are easy to see without magnification. You might then actually have an error. Small die cracks and breaks add no premium value to the coin at all and are not considered interesting as errors because they are not only a part of the normal minting process and aren't technically classified as errors at all, but they are also exceedingly common and easy to find.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice! Though this one is actually able to be seen with the naked eye. It is just my rotten photography that minimizes the die breaks. These marks are not gouged in the surface they are about on a Par with my "Broken Wing" 1924 Peace dollar in size. And there are two that size and a third that is smaller. I guess I thought that if it added value to the Peace dollar then it should on the Kennedy as well. Is is just that the Peace dollar is a more collected coin?

It's more that Peace dollars, like Morgan dollars, have a set of collectors who are trying to collect every single die from the series, and there are books and websites that list these dies. They are called VAMs after the original authors of the book on the subject, Van Allen, and Mallis.

Kennedy half dollars do not have nearly the following, especially for those collecting die for die. Comparing anything between Kennedy half dollars and Peace dollars is like comparing apples and oranges.
