Just found this ten minutes ago. What do you all think? Small date? Grade? Thanks much,

BINGO! THE EASY PUP FOR ME, THE INNER LOOP ON TOP OF THE 9 IS POINTED AND AIMED AT THE MIDDLE OF THE 7, NOT BLUNT/FLAT ENDED,LIKE THE LARGE DATED COIN ALSO DOES NOT POINT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE 7 OR THE MINT MARK..... PS, CONGRATS, not many of these are found in the wild!

Also the two ends of the 9 are pointed. Large date 9 ends are blunt. Another hint from another poster here.

I'm all eyes and ears and yes, I've been given hope, Scooby Due! How 'bout you too Coppercoins? Hope? There surely is a 2nd 1970 S Small date waiting for you to find it! I'll race you, see who finds one first, me or you, though the odds are in your favor on several counts

You may easily search a whole box of 70-S without a single one. It's one reason they carry such a nice premium. I'm amazed every time a collector finds a circ SD.
