Has anyone used a Lighthouse display case for capsules? Such as the one for the national parks quarters. No one sells them around me and I would have to buy it online and am wondering about the quality of the case. And also are there any concerns with putting silver proofs into one?

If they are in some kind of airtight capsule I dont see the problem with it. I looks like a nice case. Just be carfull when you take them out of the Mint holders and where some white gloves when handling the raw coins, when you transfer them to the capsules. Also work on a towel just in case you drop one it should not roll on a thick towel.

I'd first like to see one in real life. Photos of anything can and are many times made to look better than real life. Also, you may want to check to see if Made In China.

Does not come with the capsules but they are $4.00 for a 10 pack or $35.00 for a 100 pack. I can't find where they were made.

Funny - My wife gets her yearly bonus next week and I asked to get this for me (we get each other stuff with bonuses). Let me know how it goes though - I'm about 75% sold on buying it.

Looks nice from photo. I would consider wanting something similar. Looking forward to your review(s)! Currently have no silver state or park quarters, but considering trying to build a set, but before doing so would want to have an idea how to display and look at them while not risking damage to the coins. Would prefer to be able to see both sides however...

My local dealer carries Lighthouse products. The ones I have seen are quality products that I would not hesitate in buying. I have all three lighthouse albums that are made for the State Quarters, Parks quarters and Presidential dollars. These are also very nice. Lighthouse also sells 2x2's that don't need staples, but they are not cheap.

Not sure of this one. Case does appear to be really nice but if those slots are for raw coins, that would mean pushing them in with your thumb or something. If the coins are in airtight, might not fit. I would like more info on them.

l would like info on them as to the type of wood, ageing process. finishing products, etc. The reason is recent woods or improperly aged or dryed woods could tend to leak out moisture and possibly gasses. Also, depending on what is used to finish them may also effect coins for long term storage. For example is varnished recently, the Varnish may leak out gasses as it tends to dry completely. Maybe nothing at all but I'd want to know prior to putting coins in those.
