Well I am not a big collector of the susan b anthony ones or the sac ones so ill prob trade those in at the bank for kennedys, lol coincollector really has me wanting that, and since I got another Morgan silver dollar. I am really interested in getting a set.

a set of morgans? Those are expensive. I cant find those for melt value. With Morgans there are more than the regular P,D,S mints. Morgans have P,D,S,O, and CC mints. The CC mints are usually more than $100 dollars each and thats only the semi-Key CC Morgans. Well if you are interested in a morgan set, then set aside a set amount of cash each month and when you see one that you want get it. I would love to start a Morgan collection but they are just not I'm my budget and I dont have a job.

friend that is what I would call seed coins. Many fun series there even your face value coins could grow into a set that IKE may be a 1.15 but your next ike..... there are some pretty ones and your Carter quarters there is a variety that is worth a couple more than a dollar

Well, Coincollector I am just going to play things by ear and slowly collect sets after sets. The way I see it, I still have plenty of time to collect Kennedys but Morgan dollars are on the rise in value so if I want to do that, I need to get those as quick as I can. Kennedys can just be side work because I feel they will be relatively easier to get that set. I saw the entire set on ebay for about 200$ earlier.

yes I do agree that morgans are on the rise but so is inflation and silver price/oz. The market is always out there. The increase price of morgans is cause of the bad economy. The economy went down so people relied more on silver so the price/oz went up therefor increasing the value of all silver coins.

Really wish I could find some of my missing childhood collection. I had 2 large beer steins filled with silver quarters and I can only account for like 1/4 of it.

Luckily I never lost track of my collection when I started in 1978.
