Has anyone else come across these varieties not listed in Krause?
Km#1056 50 Bin Lira 2000. Listed as Copper-Nickel-Zinc. 11.60g. 28mm.
This is one as listed.
Turkish-50-Bin-Lira-Varieties.

Variety 1.
Brass(?) 9.66g 27mm.
Turkish-50-Bin-Lira-Varieties.

Variety 2.
Copper(?) 9.28g 26.8/9mm.
Turkish-50-Bin-Lira-Varieties.

I've only come across them for this particular year.

Yes, actually. 2000 is the last year for the large 50,000 Lira coin. They have struck them in any planchet they found. They're not uncommon. Variety 1 is not brass, I think. It's a low quality copper nickel alloy. If it is brass, and cast, it can be a counterfeit (not common, but not rare too)

Thanks, molydeii, for the explanation. I was only making a guess at the compositions going by the color of the coin.
