I also think that I've heard that some were used as ballast in ship hulls and the salt water wasn't all that kind to the blanks either. This was for quite a lot of the early coppers. Mine is mushy and corroded but I like it. I always think of the War of 1812 and also Puffed Rice for some reason? Report this Post to the Staff
