I really had to look at mine from all directions to convince myself that it wasn't MD. Once I found the right angle, I found the notching.

Look real close (or post pics) of the two dots. Dots almost always help to determine if it is doubled or not.

In this case, I saw the notching first.

Rather than duplicate a post, I remembered I had made a topic a ways back on this one.

Whoa! Nice wheezy!

I checked out your thread and seen what coppercoins said about DDO's & DDR's on the same coin. That makes me feel even better about my 1874 Mexican 10 Centavos. But, he did say something about maybe QC let it go on purpose as a curiosity. I hope not. I like the first one better.

Wheezy, yeah...that's a great example of distorted rim dots.

I can't find any others of it right now. Anyways, I see the sandman just pulled up with a load. I am off to bed. G-nite.

I know a lot of you have seen this one already, but you haven't seen mine!

I love this DDR, it's strong and beautiful!
The doubling encompasses the entire coin, even the big 5!

Anybody know if this DDR is isolated to this obverse?

Germany - Federal Republic KM#209

This Spanish 5 Peseta 1957(59) coin have some doubling. To bad for me is the heavy wear of this coin.
