Same issue as my ASE, can't seem to get a good reverse shot.

I had the same trouble trying to get a good reverse shot when I first started taking my Morgan pics.The reverse is so "busy" on the Morgan that if you move at all it will blur just a little.I was able to cure that by using a tripod or any solid surface to steady the camera about 12" from the coin.Also,I don't know what kind of photo editing you have but if you can crop the pictures so just the coin is in them it will make them much larger when you post them and we will be able to guess our grade better. Hope that helps some.

Yes, the tri-pod is enroute.

At least post some practice shots. All the fun in 1921's is on the reverse.

Reverses tend to want less lighting that obverses with Morgans - partly because they're generally more lustrous, and partly because of all the many-angled surfaces moving light around. I get much better luck with direct light on reverses, and indirect light on obverses.

Will do. Sitting here at work with the manual and will try some more shots in the am.

I really hope that tri-pod gets here SOON! As that will help me A LOT!
