My good friend Larry Eakins posed this question on the 'other site'. I do not post over there as my posting privileges were removed November 30, 2010. (Don't think I was bad, I violated no rules or protocol but I can say dissenting comment is not wanted) Well for the first time since then, I wanted to post a reply. I would if I could but I can't so I won't. Suffice to say, I will here. I would like a nice uncirculated 1883-P VAM 10 sextupled stars. What VAM would you like?

Hey Oz good thing you're behavin' here! I'd like a nice uncirculated example of the 1889 VAM 23A. I'd also like to have Larry's disposable income.

There is only one 1921-D VAM-1X. If I ever find the second, I'll have to quit collecting coins because there will be no higher goal to reach.

Hey Oz, I see that other site has a locked down post because the guy asked the WRONG kind of questions. Maybe we should start calling that place the "WHACK SITE" !! If it looks like a whack, sounds like a whack, then it must be Sir Whacksalot !! LOL

Quote: There is only one 1921-D VAM-1X. I knew that answer as soon as I saw the question Right now I would like to have a VAM-86 to complete at least one of my B1 Reverse sets

This thread may get better if we expand it to five vams instead on one. Your 1878-P VAM 85 was one for the ages. Now that was a find. I like those B1 reverses as well.

I have been collecting Morgans over the years, but never focused on VAM's as long as you all have..But I have really enjoyed the studies of Vamming. And the process of how to attribute them...And many who have collected vams and submitted them have many many discoveries... I think to submit one's "very first discovery piece" would hold a special place. I have a simple VAM I will soon submit..It won't be a phenominal coin, but it will be something new....Many new discoveries are found each month. As more research there coins to learn what they have...its a treasure hunt...Some for money, and for most to find something new...One might say .."love to have an 1878P VAM 44 in MS67DMPL". One can wish in many ways......but one must start from somewhere.. the beginning....and seek knowledge.....

5... 1x's Hey now... they ONLY reason they put that in the HL40 so other people would search for it... right? Thats what I am told. Its not a self fulfilling prophecy or anything like that. Or to make the ONE coin worth that much more. I would like to have... A...89 VAM-23A, with a side of a high grade 91-P 2A LDS, and a 86-P VAM-20 for dessert

I would ask for a simple 1923 Tail-o Peace dollar Vam1C in brilliant MS66 condition, I am NOT asking for that much, I am a simple person....... ocsjr2001, It would seem you, unlike here, can NOT ask just any questions, with out select people deciding the questions being asked are NOT to be tolerated, and therefore, lock the topic, judgement seems to of been passed, by those holier than thou!!

actually I just visited over there and the thread like this one was not locked and is active. Oz never said the other thread was locked, just that he can't post there so he started one here that he could post in
