The coin pictured has almost certianly either been plated or heavily cleaned and improperly stored, it is still worth the silver value which fluctuates up and down.

Don't have to worry about law enforcement on this Forum. Fortunately for us, coins don't fight back! Just enjoy your coins and forget about stress.

Suggestion: Scour this forum for some while, then, when you have enough money from your budget, treat yourself the the purchase of a coin which you would think you would be proud to own, then share the image of it at a time convenient to you. Most of us after collecting coins for some years, eventually indulge and get a 'star', that holds pride of place in our collection.

In Australia, it is much harder to own a gun and the death rate from all gun related causes is about 1/20th per 100,000 per year of that of the U.S.


My brother is the only person I know who has a gun. (Colt .45) The weapon has to have a vital component removed from it, the major and minor parts stored in separate lockable safes. Then gun is registered, and so is he. The safes are inspected annually at his expense.

He shoots with his Club on SAS practice range in Perth, Western Australia.

Certainly makes policing a lot safer, with a lot less risk of being shot at!

I wouldnt mind doing it except the fact that I'd rather stay off the roads here, the drivers are absolute 100% jerks. ick especially the NJ turnpike

nod2003: If I want to get rid of them, a small about of very highly volatile carbon disulphide liquid poured down their ground holes works nicely! CS2 vapour is about 3.5 times as dense as air, and it sinks into their burrows to asphyxiate them. Google 'carbon disulphide', and you will see what I mean.

We had a cat who, to avoid digging holes to do his 'busy' used to poop over the top of the ground holes made by the spiders. Curiously the spider toxin only affects higher order primates,(of which I am one), and small bugs. The spider poison is highly neurotoxic. Cats and dogs are only slightly affected.
