Alright, now that I'm done messing around with slabbed coins, it's by time I post some raw cents that I am legitimately asking opinions on grade.

In hand I think the color is a little closer to RB than RD, mostly due to the browning on Lincoln's head and shoulder, but it's definitely on the redder edge of RB.

Beautiful coin. Almost makes 66 but IMO, the reverse marks here and there would limit that. MS65RB all the way!

WOW! Killer 1919! Looks like tons of luster, those small hits on the reverse won't keep it out of MS-66 with that luster.

MS66. The little bit of toning might make it RB instead of RD. That coin is radiant! Stunning!

If MS66RB, this would be a PCGS Registry coin. I think they have graded 3 examples none finer.

I agree super nice old lincoln, gotta go MS65. I could be wrong but I think it would need to be red to go 66

PCGS has graded MS66RB and even MS66BN several times. The color and the technical grade are supposed to be separate qualities, it just becomes increasingly less common to have strong toning on a coin the higher the technical grade becomes.

PCGS periodically gives RB coins an MS-66 grade as is the case with the three 1919 LWC's they have given that grade to (MS-66 RB). An MS-66 RB is considered a registry coin ("none graded finer") even if an MS-67 RD exists they are treated as a separate class of coin.
