Looks like a nice uncirculated example. What opinions do you want?

Does it look right, and how in value does this compare to a 1x cilp; or 2x?

I see no problem with its appearance, and it would be more valuable (of course) than a single clip. As to exact value - I don't know, I don't mess with error coins enough to know.

In the last couple of years I put together a complete 20th Century type set of clips, cents to dollars.

Ultimately, size is key to clips. It's the only thing I know that's worth more, the less of it there is!

I've heard it said that the more clips the more value, I think that's a quote from the back of the RedBook. I've had more success selling a coin with a single very large clip than I have coins with multiple small ones. In my experience, the more dramatic and visually stimulating, the stronger the price.

Very nice coin! I prefer the multiple clips over 1 big one.

First time looking at and reading about error coins, boy what a dummy I am.I have seen Lincoln cents that were what I called off center and nickels with clips/chunks missing from the coin.I just spent them or gave them to the kids to spend.Didn't know they were worth anything more than face value.Actually I just wanted to get rid of them, and hope the store would take them for the purchase that was made.LIVE and LEARN
