Im not sure what type of error this coin is. I was thinking off-center but the back of this coin is fine. Its weird the front of the coin is off-centered but the back isn't? Is it a broadstrike I've never found a broadstrike before so I'm not very firmiliar with them.

It's a MAD (mis-aligned die) cent.

It's just a misaligned die.
Are any of the tops of the letters missing? Devices need to be missing or partially missing to have any premium.

This is simply not true. I have only very seldom ever run into anything like this, and know exactly what it is. I cannot imagine one just like this NOT having any premium value.

What kind of error is this then?

It's a MAD (misaligned die) One side will look off center while the other is normal. I also agree it has a slight premium. Can't put an exact dollar amount on it but at least a few bucks.

I thought some of the devices "had" to be missing for it to have a premium. I have seen these on ebay sold in lots. I also noticed it is a small date, is it copper or a zincoln? John1

I find these slightly off centers all the time and didn't know they had any value! Wow! Seems to be only the obverse off center that I find and never the reverse.

I've seen this once in a great while with cents. Never thought much of it. I seem to remember this being more common on dimes.

John1: its copper. Tunnioc: I find these alot too but never found one this far off before. Thats the only reason I kept it. I took the picture at an angle and its more off than the picture looks. Its estimated about 10% off. The ones I found before are about 2% off.

There is a HUGE difference between a simple off-center cent and a severely misaligned die. Slightly misaligned dies where coins have two rims are very common, but the adjustment is usually not so far off so as to make one side of the coin look off-center. I would buy that coin for $10 right off the bat. And if "these" are sold in lots on ebay I would LOVE to see that lot so I can bid on them.

That would be fine if they were the same error as this coin. This is NOT an off-center cent. This is a misaligned die strike. TOTALLY different!
