Nice coins! I always enjoy looking at other people's coin pics! That is a NICE Morgan!

Very cool collection!! The Morgan is pretty and it has an even better story, but my fave is the Spanish Dollar. I would definitely at least sleeve those loose in the drawer. It looks to me like there are some gems there, too! Maybe you don't think they're worth much now, but when you look back in 20 years, it will have been a worthwhile investment. =)

Definitely a nice group of coins. Looks like a head start on a great 70/70 there. That shipwreck coin caught my eye because I saw a fake one of those at an antique shop once.

thanks all for the kind words. delaner, mainly the loose stuff is just 90%. with about 30 or so Mercury dimes. I was thinking about getting a couple coin tubes to have laying around for the loose stuff. upstate, I hope that anacs did their homework good enough for it to be real. I bought it thinking since it was slabbed it would be good but then just a bit ago I read on here where swamperbob said something about anacs slabbing what he said was a fake...so really who knows later, dave

The one I saw was really obvious, cheap looking porous pot metal. Pretty funny really, I told the guy it was "homemade" and he still wasn't sure; and he only wanted $5 for it?.

I too like the El Cazador shipwreck coin. You might want to put your loose coins into 2 X2s, that way they would be safe and protected rather than being loose.

thanks again for the kind words. my local shop has a few more of the el cazadors. I have been thinking about picking another one up. I know I need to get a few more air tites and maybe a Mercury dime album do you guys think all that "junk" silver needs to be in there own 2x2s? i just got a 1945 d merc ms 67 I will have to get a pic of that one for you guys also. I paid a bit over what I should have but I wanted a high grade mercury to compare with. maybe it will help me get better at grading. later, dave

I typically like to put whatever "Junk" I have at least in a 2x2 to prevent it from further becoming junk...
Whatever keeps it in better condition!
