hello all, new member here and new to numasmatics. I just had some questions on my morgans, and if they were worth getting slabbed by NGC or PCGS ad if they were what kind of grades I might get...also which company to go with if I do decide to slab em'. Sorry for the bad pics but its all I got. **edit the last four pictures are to big for this web site but the condition you see on these is also on the last one all pretty ok I'm guessing Edited by schmidtyss 03/24/2011 6:04 pm

First, you would need to post pics of the reverses of these. Second, the 1878 is a little too blurry...

to CCF! The 80o is AU55 & the 78s is MS62 based on the pics. I wouldn't get these slabbed. Only because the values are about $30 & $60. The cost to ship & ins. w/ return ship/ins + the cost to have them slabbed doesn't seem to be worth it. Nice coins. Down load Photobucket and you will be able to load the pics.

it seems like theres also a high "improperly cleaned" amount of coins that come back un slabbed...

agreed, probably not going to be worth the slab cost in the end. Remember that a raw Morgan is still a great thing!

the value of these coins (going by date/mm combination and what I see in the pictures)are not worth the grading fees in my opinion because they are all common dates and they would not be super high grade. As a general rule of mine is if the coin isn't worth more than $100.00 its not worth the price of getting it graded unless there is some type of sentimental value
