Ok. I'm not good with the terminology, But I just found this little guy in a bank roll. the finish appears gem or proof or however it is normally stated. It ha a shine to that I am accustomed to seeing on a 2008-2010 LMC. Just wondering if these pop up in circulation very often from this far back. I know 1992 isn't THAT old. just wondering if this has any small premium to it since I want to put it my whitman but will 2 x 2 it if the situation calls for it. thanks as always for the info! much appreciated!

Looks like a decent coin, but it's a normal coin. The surface shine you are seeing is probably due to an early strike from that die pair.

I'm not sure what situation would call for it, but it's a nice example of the date. It's not worth much, though.

I figured as much but thanks for the info. I'll probably put it in a 2 x 2 just for the fact that I found it in a bank roll. if 100 surface over the next several boxes, ill put it in the whitman:) Thanks!

okay, so if it's valuable you put it in a 2x2. If it's not valuable, you put it in the Whitman.

Just trying to understand here.

These aren't just "common" but they aren't valuable either. You are likely not to run into very many 19 year old coins that are nice BU coins like that one...but there's nothing "special" about the surface and how it shines, and there are enough visible marks on the coin not to warrant submitting it to a grading service for the necessary MS67RD grade that would be required to recoup the grading fee.

Not sure what else to offer.

Okay, I'll try to help the consistency...

It's a nice coin for an album collection. It's not worth separating out as a 'special' valuable coin.

Stick it in the album and smile that you found a nice 19 year old coin worthy of its place. Do this with all the better coins you find in rolls, and eventually you will end up with the better part of a nice uncirculated memorial set.
