It doesn't really affect me as a coin buyer. I most always use detailed searches with no BIN listings, that include grade designations. If a listing doesn't have a detailed hi res picture, I'm not going to look at the coin anyway. After a while, you notice which sellers always have quality material on a regular basis.
Now, as a collector who occasionally sells duplicates and unwanted material from time to time, this is a godsend. Every coin I've ever sold comes with two gigantic up-close photos. It just takes all the guesswork out of what you are buying. It will be nice not to have to start every auction at $1 (when I know the coin will go for more than $20) just to avoid fees.
One more thing - using Paypal to print shipping labels, any coin can be sent with a tracking number first class for around $1.75 + the cost of a bubble mailer. Not bad.
