Those VOC coins are an interesting series; it's also the first corporate logo in use, and likely one of the few on coins.
I just read about the VOC in Batavia(present Jakarta) during the eruption of Krakatau.

It is an interesting serie with a lot of varieties also..
Most of the VOC coins I've posted here in this topic I bought in 1 big lot. Otherwise they where shipped to the US.. as New York pennies.. As a world coin collector by date this is a small part of my collection/interest.. Because they where minted in the Netherlands I bought them. I like them, but don't have time to study them (good) for now..

I don't have a 1751 coin to move this thread along, so here's another 1752:

How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?-Ended-At-1492-Waiting-On-1491

Bishopric of Liege copper liard.

Arrrright! We made it through another half century!

1749 Netherlands 10 stuyver:

How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?-Ended-At-1492-Waiting-On-1491
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?-Ended-At-1492-Waiting-On-1491

size = ~28 mm. I rate this coin 10/10 for its visual appeal.

If you guys don't mind more Spanish Colonial, I can run us all the back to 1730 with 8 reales. I could post a few at a time so everybody else can add in as well.

As long as you don't pass my date, 1724 I don't mind, but it's more fun if you give others a chance as well, even though it's getting slower and slower..

I have seven more years to add before we exit the 1700's.

Eight if the overseas mail is on time...

I personally would be delighted to see anything anyone cares to show from here downward.
A run of 8 reales would be good practice for telling the real from the bogus.
I fear my 1744 is not what it's supposed to be, but I shall post it anyway.
