Hard to tell on a brown coin but i'll guess AU-58 judging from the color break on the cheek. Regardless its a nice coin so I'm curious what your going to do.

By your comments I'm assuming they put it in a genuine holder. The coin looks AU55 or 58 though.

It's definitely in the AU area. I'd bet on a genuine grade too for some reason.

I'll guess 58-60. And that's some introductory post.
Welcome.

I'm thinking AU 55 for the scuff on the cheek and jaw. I also think you are going to resubmit with another service to try to get MS. The great fields, hints of orginial luster, crisp rims and strike, super, super coin. Oh maybe your going to return it because the dealer said it is MS?

I wanted to resubmit to try for 63, but after some of you said AU now I'm not too sure. I love the coin regardless, just kind of annoyed at the "in-between" grade of 62.

Huge difference in coin in hand and pictures, even nice pics like yours. I had a hard time saying AU because of the perfect rims and fields but the cheek and jaw look rubbed in the pics (to me). I wouldn't get too hung up on the grade and enjoy, that coin is a beauty.

That looks like an example of market grading a high AU coin into an MS holder. If it were truly MS? It's a 63 easy.

Well its hard to say grade wise as I cant roll it around and look at the fields/devices. So I would suggest you get another opinion from a few coin dealers/numismatists as a show. Cover up the grade and ask them what they think. I see some very light speckled toning on Lincolns jacket and something on the E in cent. But the fields look nice, the devices well struck, and lots of luster. Honestly its hard to say more without having it in hand. I can understand your frustration with a 62 so get a second opinion from someone you trust.
