believe below ag is fair, poor, then cull, IMHO this would be in the poor category

That is one unhappy deceased coin. Someone should buy it and do the hobby a favor and take it out of its misery. It is so obliterated it can scarcely be called a coin anymore. Coins like that need to stay lost.

i wouldn't pay $10 for it to be honest. you'd have a hard time convincing your friends and other collectors that it is an s vdb.

I always think of AG (almost good) as the lowest but you are correct that there are lower grades.

F-2, Fair - Very heavily worn; major portions may be completely smooth.
P-1, Poor, Filler or Cull - Barely recognizable

Now I've seen it all. No TPG would even consider grading or authenticating that so why even bother. $38 wasted.
