Well, I somewhat see a bend to the right in the bottom stem of the "P". I really can't see any stretching clearly in the A in the other question. {btw, the P I'm talking of is on the second coin, also.} Otherwise, I really don't see anything more than a curiosity piece, at this time.

I am not great on error coins and these guys are right probably get better action in error area. My opinion is, the first with the A looks like there could be damage look at the letters in Elizabeth. The other seems to have some thickening maybe from die wear ?Measured roughly in line with the beads by comparison seem to be the same width.

On the top one, I can see the bottom of the P looks like it has been squashed or flattened a bit and most of the remaining letters have extra material built up, especially on the II after Elizabeth. The top one in my opinion looks like the Queen has a broken nose, the nose on the top one is surely different than the nose on the bottom one. The elongated A looks like the top of the A is pointed. The E and G in Regina looks like the volunteer dimes. Are these the same year or different years?

All I can see is that the "P" on both coins are placed differently...the first pic has the P under the third stone on the necklace and the second pic,the P is under the second stone of the necklace

What I do is put my cursor over the coin, then click, and it has just about doubled in size, then I use a 4 inch 4 power hand held magnifying glass to look at them, the coin is quite the size then. I know it is hard to see the fine points at this size. IMHO, these are things that I see. Hopefully, I am not the only one to make out some of these things. If you take a closer look at the E in Regina, you can see the tails running out to the outer rim.

I don't know how jakko loaded these pics, but when I go to other pics, they do not act like these do, that is, where I am able to enlarge these pics by pointing and clicking. Could you let us know the process on how you photographed and loaded these please? Thanks.

Quote: I don't know what to call it? It is Die Deterioration Doubling. The die was getting worn out. Not sure why, but it seems to be quite prevelant in coins from 2000 to 2001.

Sorry Uncle al for the late reply.I use Irfanview its a free download.First I take the pic with a camera and then downsize it in the same program using the "image" and use resize/resample and save it.If you have any problem don't be shy to ask. Jakko
