I don't think so. My father was a collector, but he sold most of his coins in the later years. I think he lost it it something, still cool!

Good find!

What a great way to make cleaning the garage a better experience. I got one a few years ago out of a cash register. But mine was a lot more worn.

I just came across one that I believe is the same coin, but I thought it was a dime (same size), but no denomination markings. Has the same left facing face on the front, surrounded by stars, and and eagle on the back holding a sheaf of arrows, surrounded by United States of America. Date is 1893. Don't know anything about grading, but the date and stars on the front are clear, along with the decorations on her hatband. Is it a nickel or a dime? Any idea of value?
Thanks, this is my first post, so correct me if I haven't done it right.

I'd like to add this to my last post - I went and looked at 1893 nickels on ebay, and they all had a V on the back. This one has an eagle, so don't think it's a nickel.

Cool find! All I ever find is a beat up ol' LMC or a Roosevelt dime.

OK, I got a couple of pix, but don't know how to get them side by side, so this may take two posts.

somewhere out there in cyberspace, is a picture of the obverse of this coin floating around. I'll try posting it again. Please excuse my ignorance in posting these pix. Someday I'll learn - I promise!
