I haven't been around much lately. I've found myself with a day off and a need to search. I have searched anything besides pocket change in 3 months. What should I get at the bank today?

I'd go with the Lincoln cents - more bang for the buck! If you've got the time - drive around from bank to bank, asking for just $10.00 apiece in cents from each bank. You'll get customer wrapped rolls - and may really strike pay dirt!

A box of halves, a box of nickels, and two boxes of cents.
My bank is having me lay off the nickel boxes for awhile 'till they get rid of my old ones.

Just go there and ask for any Gold or Silver coins. Then too mention how you want all the larger sized dollar coins.
And just to make sure you get anything else you may need or want, ask for any 2 or 3 cent pieces laying around.

Wise words! Thanks for the smile just carl, very much appreciated.

As most here have mentioned, customer-wrapped is best.

coin shop and buy the coins I want

That is how I roll .. and I find more coins I want that way
