so the best I can tell its a coin from 1792 Kentucky not sure if its a dollar or what I just wanted to know if its worth any money....thanks guys

Well it's not from 1792. That's when Kentucky became a state. It's a generic commemorative but I'm not sure of what. Any way to get a close shot of the top picture? Or at least tell us what it says.

As far as worth. It's unlikely that it's silver so it's worth a few bucks to collectors but I doubt any more then that.

Became a state in 1972,state bird cardinal,golden rod state flower,state capitol Frankfort

That is what it says word for word on the top pic sorry the pics suck so you got any idea?

Another clue to this not being from 1792 is the presence of the steamship in the design. They were still experimenting with steamships in the early 1800's. The picture on the coin looks to be a good representation of a commercial steam ship. There were experimental ones in the late 1700's, but there would have been no reason to include an experimental (and not well known at all) type ship on a Kentucky coin.
