What Are Wholesale Buy Prices For Common Indian Cents/Buffs?

Assume average circulation; not slugs not BU. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say 50¢ for Indian cents and 25¢ for Buffalo nickels? Report this Post to the Staff

bvalania Valued Member United States 458 Posts	Posted 05/26/2011 1:50 pm I've never seen an IHC for less than $1. Buffalos usually $0.25, dateless $0.11. That seems to be avg. price here in NJ. Report this Post to the Staff
Prethen Pillar of the Community United States 3234 Posts	Posted 05/26/2011 3:07 pm I've seen a dealer offer of 0.06 for dateless buffalos. Personally, I wouldn't pay above face for those...just no interest in trying to find a buyer for those. For Indian cents, a dollar would seem too much since dealers often have them in bargain bins for a buck and sometimes 75¢. Then again, the last time I dealt with those at the wholesale level was a few years ago. Report this Post to the Staff

The amount over face is worthwhile to have a nic-a-date funfest, or just to spend some at general stores and see the looks on peoples faces. I will buy them at that price all day! I've found a number of nice dates (albeit in FR2/AG3) in the supposedly dateless pile. Just bought a dateless 1913-D T1 for $0.40 yesterday! Report this Post to the Staff
