try putting your light source behind a piece of white paper. find a way to make the light reflect off of a white source, onto the coin.

I have a suspicion the coin may not be real.
The finger tips on her extended hand look different.

I've never heard of a counterfeit 1920 Walker but I guess it's possible. The right-hand fingertips do look abnormally blunt in your image. Sharply-focused close shots would be helpful.
Gradewise this coin looks EF-45 to AU-50.

I think its better than EF but with the wear on the REV chest feathers I couldn't go higher than AU53, overall nice coin..I think the hand issue is do to the photo..

I'm gonna say EF-40 to EF-45
You could try taking a photo with the flash on, and some white paper in front of the flash

Hello Muddler; First of all your half dollar is not fake. It is a real 1920 half dollar in at least AU condition from what I can see from your photograph. The value at AU 50 is $150 and it goes on up from there. Could you perhaps post a clearer photograph so that we can properly give it a grade? Is this a new coin to your collection, or have you had it for a while? It is very nice.

thecoinczar, I've just recently been able to photograph my coins so I have been playing with the camera and reviewing items that the group may have some interest in. I've had this one about 5 years now.

Cool coin, and far nicer than the typical early date Walker.

I agree, I dont think it is a fake...I would say for sure an xf40 I may grade higher with a better picture.

Try taking your photos outside in the afternoon sun about 5pm. I do this for my photos. I stand with the sun to the side and behind me so there is no reflection off the coins' surface into the camera and position the camera directly above the coin, focus and shoot. I get good clear pictures and the toning of the coin, if any, looks right. The photo of this dime was taken that way and that is its exact color. If I take the photo inside I fold a paper towel in half and hold it up in front of the flash and I get pretty accurate photos that way also. You just have to experiment and find what works for you. Good luck. Ed ANA LM-3175
