I went to a BSA high adventure camp (Florida Sea Base) and I found out I had no way to return home. Was able to find a friend who lived a few miles away from the airport and was able to stay in Florida for a few extra days. Stopped at an antique mall and found one booth that had 50% off coins. I though this is going to be great but then saw the prices they had on the coins. They wanted $50 for silver morgans and Peace dollars and wanted to sell ASE for close to $150 dollars each. Well even with 50% off it was still overpriced. Went downtown and stopped at ONE bank. I asked for half dollars and bought $100 in halves. Got back to friends house to look through them and took out 74 40% half dollars and 2 90% half dollars. THAT IS OVER 11 OUNCES OF SILVER.        I will have to post a picture when I get back home |

No I took them all. The teller was grateful that I took all of her halves and Ikes off her hands. This is the most I have ever found in circulation. I have found a total of 180+ silver 40% halves in circulation. I have found more silver outside of my city than inside.
