so I found this 1970 s roll searching and it looks very much like the small date in person. I compared it to many large dates I have. but when I took a photo it looks a little off.

but then when I post it next to another 1970 s, they look different and I think I did actually find the small date. what do you guys think?

If you already have VC then give it a try but if you don't I would try using some mild soap and a soft used toothbrush on it. Then post new photos for us to see.

The one you found roll searching is a large date, the other one I'm not sure.

The one imaged individually, then on top of the other is a small date. The other is a large date.

Yup...the one on top is a Small Date...Everyone says to look at the tops of the numbers but to me its way easier to look at the bottome...compare the bottom of the "7" and its obvious...nice find.

that's what I thought. and I threw the large date there to compare. thanks everyone for your opinions. I found about 200 large dates so far and this is my first small date. too bad it is like the worst 1970 s I have. lol.
