So I buy and sell a lot of silver and gold as a hobby and I use the profit to pay for my collection. I will always place coins in my safes and other hidden places just in case someone steals a safe somehow. I recently was going over "the books" and when I say the books I mean I am writing things down from memory to see where my money is at. It seemed to be that I was spending more than I had brought in because I thought I had more money in coins to be sold. So I figured it wasn't a big deal and moved on. Well while I was talking to my wife on the phone today and I was hunting for a cream she was asking about. So I open a drawer and stick my hand in the back to see if I feel anything......sure enough I feel something cloth and hear "Ching Ching Ching" This was the result:

That's fine as long as she didn't spend them at face value.

I do that all the time especially since the meds I am on seem to effect my memory pretty badly. Its great because everyday you find a surprise. Well not great when you think something is missing, but great when you don't even remember missing them anymore

I always have done that even as a young kid. I would always put things in a place where I would end up forgetting. Even as simple as a $100 bill in a different pocket in my wallet. When you find it, it is always a nice treat
