I just started collecting coins for fun. I read an article about rare coins showing up in your pocket change,so I began to look. Now how ever I am stumped. I found a 2005,D marked Penny that has one edge higher than the other,is extremely shiny, but sort of dark on the head side and a little darker and less shiny on the tail side, but it is also rainbow colored all over. I am not sure what to make of it or even if it is worth anything.

Lots of really smart people here, and lots with much coin knowledge, and sometimes, both! Good luck with your move.

Thank you Celtic, I'm going to need it. Moving from IL to NJ. Not going to be easy, but in the end worth it.
