Speaking of expensive nickels, you guys hear that Legend is going to sell their 1913 Eliasberg PR66 Liberty nickel? It was purchased by them for 4.15 million, I wonder how high that puppy will go this time. My guess is it will top 5 million.

yeah I heard it from Laura herself and I definitely believe it will top the 5 Million mark even though this thing is racking up more pedigree's than used up dish water
Rest in Peace

The seller wants $178 million. Darn, I'm a little short of that amount.

Excuse my ignorance, I should know I guess, but what on earth makes this Jefferson nickel worth that kind of money?

Is this a joke? It's not April 1.

Can anybody explain its value to me?

You've got to be kidding me. And Laura's making at least a million by reselling that finest-known nickel. If I had the money, I'd be jumping all over that coin instead of this one...

I happened to save a snapshot of the item just in case they did close it (which I was sure they would do sooner or later)and someone didn't get a chance to see it

Thanks! I was a little ticked that they went and closed it before I had a chance to see it. WOW must have been a typo! considering the most valuble coin EVER sold for 7.59 million!
