First vote!

"Start another coin type..."

I will have to wait to see which ones are popular.

I wanna see 3 cents! Has that been done yet? That or Mercury dimes. But gold first; the few people who have that page have paid enough that they deserve to show off.

I would like to see a thread on Walking Liberty halves, a very popular type coin that many have examples of.

I'm too far down the road personally for the Walkers. I'm selling mine a few per day to partially finance my next great adventure. How about <drum roll> EARLY COMMEMORATIVE HALVES?!

I would do a thread of "coins that should have been in the 7070 but aren't" - i.e., Large Diameter Bust Quarter, Seated No Stars, etc.

p.s. I wouldn't mind a gold thread either even though I don't have that page in my album...

Nicklesearcher would have us all in awe with his early commemorative set.

I don't do gold at all. For the price of one of those I could have a pocketful of silver.
Early commems are rather obscure, not very popular with or well known to most collectors.
I vote for Mercury dimes. Everybody loves 'em, there are plenty around, and the thread would go on for a good long while. It would be a treat to see some of the 'first page' hole fillers in higher grades that the advanced hoarders have tucked away.

I voted to go with the Gold Page. I won't contribute much to that thread, but it will be great to see what others have

Anything but gold. I know I'll never own any of them, so for me there is zero interest. Even if I could afford a gold piece, I'd sell it to purchase many many other coins.

I see no reason why the current 7070 thread cannot continue for a few extra days to allow for the gold.

Moe, I can edit the title to reflect it.

I count the following votes for and against next series so far (+ are for, - are against):
3 cents (+1)
Mercury dimes (+2)
Walking Liberty (+1, -1)
Early Commemoratives (+2, -1)
"Coins that should be in the 7070 but aren't" (+1)

Mercury dimes are nice because so many people will be able to participate and because we can see a such a wide range of condition and rarity over the course of the series. I also hope to see some of the different sub-types of 1917!

I don't have any US gold but would like to see the gold page added to the current thread.

I'm still upset that I missed the Early Copper and Bust Halves!

I would like to see Mercury dimes next!

Hey now... there is a good one! 155 days of U.S. Small Cents! Start with a 2011 Shield penny and continue back through all the Lincolns, all the Indians, and all the Flying Eagle cents!

Cool!
