I have 25 Mercury dimes I have been collecting as I see them and just was wondering what I should be looking out for. Are there any particular errors worth checking for? I really do not know how to tell if something is DD some of them look different in color, I have this problem especially in my Half Dollars I will post up. dates are from:

1918 (This one is like half the size in thickness than all the rest. Maybe not half but so much so I can clearly tell a difference. It could just be worn it has no reeding either)
1923
1927-S
1929 - 4
1936
1937 - 7
1938-D
1941 - 2
1943 - 4 (2xS/1xD)
1944
1945 - 2

Oh EDIT:

1 of the 1941 is a 1941-S
1 of the 195 is a 1945-S

going through I also found

the 1938 one I have is 1938-D
1943-S
1927-S
1943-S
1943-D

So I will update the original list.

Have you check them for mint-marks, or are they all Philly issues? The mint-mark would be located at the bottom of the reverse between the "E" in "ONE" and the olive branches.

the list all looks like common dates to me, the 1918 is just worn down from being so old. A lot of the older teens mercs appear this way. The varieties stated above are the ones I knew so I can't help you anymore there. I am by no means an expert though. Slowly getting a set together is all. Good luck mercs are my favorite coin

None of the ones you have are particularly rare, but the '27-S is probably the least common of the bunch, and worth a bit of a premium if it's in very nice condition.
