Just received my sets. I'm very pleased with the quality of the coins and mint packaging.

Quote: Oh I am just sooo confused with all of this ! Well, if you plan on eventually selling SOME of your sets go with NGC or PCGS. If you read my 20th Annie label comparison a few posts ago the label is what sells...sounds funky but it is true. ANACS is in bed with HSN on this one and your money is better off with a top two TPG. Price difference between NGC and ANACS is minimal...PCGS adds a ridiculous $18/coin additional for FS which adds up.

Coins will be here tomorrow. Ordered at 3:45 ET. Total to have all 3 sets by pcgs graded is $304. Should I get them graded or sell 2 sets as is on ebay? So confused!

Eaglefoot I'm sure you'll receive something tomorrow, latest Wedns.
My orders 38355XXX Ordered 2:57pm Shipped 11/14 38364XXX Ordered latest 3:30pm Shipped 11/14
So I don't think you'll have much longer to go. I think your pretty home free if it says In stock and reserved even better in process. Think how much more your going to enjoy opening this set. Stay positive! I'm a big believer positive attitude = positive results.

My number is 38384xxx. For some reason I received an email this morning that still showed it as backordered and contained no new information.
With this high an order number, do I realistically have any chance of receiving a set?

my buddy had an order number 38404*** and his got cancelled, you may get lucky but it will be cutting it close. He didn 't get his order in until almost 8:00PM so I am guessing you was in the 7:30-7:45 range?

I just got off the phone with the mint. I have an order that was placed at 4:24 pm, order #38371***. They told me that they were still filling orders and that if you haven't received a cancellation notice by now and your order status says # unit back-ordered expected to ship on 11/##/11 then there shouldn't be any reason you would not get one. The rep told me they should be completing filling orders within the next two days.

People are telling a varied story as to exactly when the product sold out, no one knows for sure, I have heard somewhere between 4:30 and 5 pm, others state the only people who know for sure is the main office at the mint, all this information is from calling the customer service # and being told by their reps, Good luck ao all.......PS, I have been told by a customer service supv, that there are a lot of people who's CC did NOT go through, this is IMO, good news for us at the cut off point. Order # 383704xx placed at 4:15:48 pm.

Far too many people have imbibed the PCGS Kool Aid for sure. And the big guys do indeed get preferential treatment. To believe otherwise is simply foolish. Having said that...to think that any of them would snag coins from a smaller customer and replace them with lower grade coins from a large customer is just plain paranoid beyond sense. Thats right there with wearing an aluminum foil hat to keep the aliens out. Now, pooling the sets from one sender and making up sets, THAT sounds about right. As for the (S) coin being some ploy by the TPGs...wrong answer. The simple FACT is those coins were minted in San Fran. That is FACT. And the only way to confirm that particular fact was for the box to arrive at a TPG with the seals intact. Those seals had San Fran on them, confirming where the coin was actually minted. By certifying that FACT that coin is now an (S) coin. Unless there is some other way you can tell the coins apart that no one else in the entire numismatic world doesn't know, please do let us all in on it. If you want to ignore the simple FACT of where the coin was minted and the only method to confirm it because you have some huge grudge against the TPGs no matter what, your priority dude. Now, here is a pic of the ENTIRE set of 2011 Eagles. All issues...9 beautiful coins...
