Seeking some assistance from the experts on the forum. Made a deal through some trades with a local coin dealer I've done business with before for this coin. It's slabbed by ICG and after consulting several thread links referencing counterfeits it appears to be real.

I would appreciate your input on the following:
Do you see anything that indicates it's a counterfeit coin (or slab)?
What would you assign as a grade and approximate value?
Would you resubmit to PCGS or NGC?
Keep it or return it assuming it's a fair price (greysheet) for grade?

Any additional input or insight would be a greatly appreciated from my fellow collectors. I will post the grading info tomorrow.

Obverse:
There is a reflection at 7 o'clock and a few scuff marks on the plastic at 12 and 1 o'clock.

Reverse:
There are a few additional scuff marks on the plastic on the left wing and under the right wing.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Looks like variety B7 from the book Esrly Silver Dollars by Reiver. Without seeing and holding the coin, no way to tell if it is real by a picture. Very early die state before all the die cracks start to show up. Very nice coin if it is real

IGC is a pretty good TPG, I would call it next best after PCGS, NGC, and ANACS. So if it is slabbed by them I would think that it is not counterfeit.

I agree that ICG is a good grading service. It is underated because of "the big three" Looks real to me.

This is a terrific early dollar, great detail, no field marks, I would be proud to own such a coin.

Looks real and I would trust ICG for authentication.

I'd say this coin is a strong VF-30 and possible VF-35. If you submitted it for crossover to PCGS with VF-30 as a minimum grade I think it would cross at 30 or higher.

I bought a draped bust dollar graded VF-35 by ICG and PCGS crossed it at the same grade.

I appreciate everyone's input. Price seems in line with closed auction prices I've reviewed. Coin has more detail then what my photography skills reflect. Thanks again for your help.
